Who We Are
At A House with Heart Homes, we are community members just like you, and we are dedicated to addressing the suffering of our society's most vulnerable individuals. Our commitment is to offer solutions to the ongoing housing crisis. Starting with shared housing in the Baltimore, MD area, we have since expanded our reach to South Florida, with locations in Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. The need is clear: too many vulnerable members of our community find themselves without shelter, sleeping in cars or, even worse, outdoors. Our mission is to bridge the gap for those who are low-income, disabled, seniors, and veterans.
Our Approach
We hold the belief that everyone is entitled to dignity and kindness. Our homes are curated with the utmost care and consideration for our guests. We offer adult shared living, with private and semi-private rooms, in an all-inclusive environment; this includes water, Wi-Fi, power, and other amenities at a single program rate. A washer and dryer are available on-site, water delivery service and cleaning services are provided as necessary. We also offer coordinated house activities, family meals, game nights and movie nights, to our guests. We work with many third-party agencies to provide additional supportive services as needed.
